Video Capture problem

johnp wrote on 12/25/2000, 1:23 PM
I have installed Video Capture. After doing the
configurations I was able to initialize and recognize the
Camcorder and for a brief period I was able to see some
capture from my Video. But on subsequent use, I began to
get the problem opening and starting Video Capture. And
then it locks my system with the error indicating problem
with sfvidcap.dll and VCAP16.dll. I could not find any
resolution on the troubleshooting that was in the manual
(PDF) that I have printed. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM NOW? DOES
SONIC FOUNDRY HAVE ANY TECHNICIAN WHO KNOWS THE ANSWER TO
THE PROBLEM? OR IS IT ONE OF THOSE WHERE YOU GET WHAT YOU
PAID FOR AND SORRY ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM. I COULD NOT FIND
ANYTHING ON THE SUPPORT UPDATE PATCH THAT IS RELEVANT TO
THIS ISSUE.

Hi John...What configurations did you do? There is no file
called sfvidcap.dll, so you are probably talking about
sfvidcap.exe. Please answer the following:

Operating System:
Computer:
Capture card:
Camera:

We'll get you on your way!! Thanks!
