I have a unique problem with video capture that I haven't
yet seen in this forum.
1) After installing Video Capture, upon starting it, it
takes a full two minutes or so for the program to actually
load and start. Very odd.
2) After selecting my Matrox Marvel G-200 card as the input
source, everything works fine. I get my analog captures and
do saves after each one to prevent losses in the event of a
crash.
3) The problem comes when I close the Video Capture program
and then try to restart it. It starts up right away,
without the two-minute wait, but then it won't let me
select a video source. The only fix I have found is to
completely uninstall the program and reinstall it. I hate
having to do this and hope that there is a fix.
Operating System: Win98
DirectX version: Current Release
Hard drive type (SCSI/IDE): IDE 20 gig 7500rpm
Computer: Compaq PIII 700 - 384 megs ram
Capture card: Matrox Marvel G-200
Camera: Analog
