I installed the VideoFactory 2.0 demo and everything seems to work great except capturing video. I choose “File”, then “Capture Video…” and the Sonic Foundry Video Capture app comes up. I click the “Capture Video” button and I can see my video source (S-Video) in the preview window. I wait for a bit, hit “Stop” and the Capture Complete window comes up and tells me that 0 clips were captured, 0 frames were dropped, the session length is 0:00:00 and so on. I can’t even capture images. It never gives me an error, it just doesn’t capture anything.

My video card is the Matrox Marvel G450 eTV and Video Factory says it is using the Matrox VidCap Driver. I have plenty of disk space, so that isn’t a problem.

I am wondering if I am doing something wrong, if there is something wrong with my installation or if video capture is simply disabled in the demo?
