Video Capture problems.

I recently purchased Video Factory, and was very excited to
see how well it was put together... but I do have a problem.

I am unable to capture very well from my IEEE 1394 OHCI
compliant card. Currently, I have the MS Camcorder / VCR
driver installed (for my other software, I use a TI driver
that is not compatible with the Video Capture software). I
am running Windows 98 SE.

When I try to capture, every time I do, it captures for a
couple of seconds, then give me an "Unknown Error" and
stops, but lists the currupted clip in the list below. I
then try to capture again, and usually it will work. When
I am done capturing, and exit, I have the clip I need.
BUT, when I want to capture again, Video Capture will be
locked up, and I have to reboot to get it to work again.

I have tried switching PCI slots for the card, I have made
sure there are NO IRQ conflicts, in the System / Hardware
section, it says everything is fine, but it seems the Video
Capture locks up the device.

When I try to switch back to the TI driver (ULEAD software)
and start up the other capture software, it says it is
unable to render the grid, which I assume it things
something else has control of the card. I have to reboot,
switch drivers, and use the other software to capture...

Has this happened to anybody else? I just got the
software, packaged with manuals, and tried to see if there
was a patch... is there anything?

My computer:
800 Mhz PIII
128MB RAM
12 GIG Main Drive ATA/100
45 GIG Slave Drive ATA/100
Windows 98 Second Edition

Thanks,

Brad
