Video Capture Problems

I use Sony Vegas 6 to edit my video, but last year when I bought the product and installed it, the video capture app never worked, I would press on the icon and it would never run, I've re-installed vegas several times for several reasons, but it still never works...any suggestions. (Right now I'm using pinnacle to capture my video...grrrr)

Never run as in nothing at all happened? Or as in it started up but crashed? If the former you might want to try running it directly. It's in C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas 6.0\vidcap60.exe

Updates exist for a reason. It might or might not help you, but, install the update and see.

Some early versions had a problem loading Vidcap that was resolved in later versions. Download and install 6.0c.
