I remember reading about a capture utility a year or so ago that would log the capture (files, length, size, etc.) as well as actually capture a couple of frames in the log so that you could print out almost a proof sheet (in photography terms) of the tape. I can't remember (or find) the utility now. Does anyone know of a tool that would do this? I would love to scan my DV and HDV tapes and be able to file them with a 'proof sheet'.
