I am interested in making a small montage in a video project, using a sequence of stills ( 5 sec. per image) captured in V.V. 3.0a Vid Cap. When mixing it with other DV footage, from the same source, I see a noticeable difference in the resolution, the pixels and a small amount of blur in the image.

Is this to be expected? Should I capture using different settings? Or should I export the files into another software to touch them up? I really need to match the stills and video clips at the best of resolutions.

Any advise greatly appreciated.
