No advantage for editing. If you play H.264 you may see some improvement in playback if you get a software DVD that supports nVidia hardware acceleration. Not anything that will help your editing though, Vegas doesn't use video hardware.

I like the two DVI and the HDMI ports. There are probably less expensive offerings out there with similar features though. Something with 8600 or 8800 chips. Plenty power for video, but if you are gaming... well...

I was playing HD H.264 on an ATI 9600 in HD, so you don't even need a new card to do that, unless it's an nvidia. Nvidia didn't add that feature until years after ATI.
