Video CD's

My first try at making a video cd was only half good. I burned one in .avi file format and it burned successful except no audio. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am just trying to get some home video archived for future use by my children... Thanks...

If you're burning in .avi format then you're not making a VCD (Video CD). You need to use the Tools option to make a VCD, and this will render your video to MPEG-1 format, and then create the proper file structure on the disc.
