Video croping and preview in one window?

Is there a way to pan/crop and play/preview the video in one window? Right now I have the video preview window, and the pan/crop window. When I play the video to a point where I want to pan/crop, the video in that window is at the last keyframe, so I have to jack around until it's at the same spot, then do the crop. If I change where the video is in the crop window, it automatically updates to that spot in the preview window, I need it to do the same going the other way, or better yet, just have the ability to play the video in the pan/crop window. Is that possible? Thanks, Gary

Well, you can dock the Event Pan/Crop window so it's beside the preview window. That will allow you to have both visible.

However, I believe what you're looking for is to lock the cursors so they're at the same position. To do that, click the Sync Cursor icon at the bottom of the Even Pan/Crop window, it's the I/padlock.
