Video Demonstration of VEGAS 9.0c Image Bug

It appears SONY is already aware of this issue...

...so I don't expect this demonstration of the issue to achieve anything, unless someone can suggest an improved work-around, or SONY releases 9.0d as an urgent bug-fix.

Anyway here's the video. And I wouldn't have bothered if I wasn't getting impatient.

Hey. Thanks for the video demo. Can't hurt!

Here's what the ForumAdmin posted 11/30/09

This is a known issue that occurs when combining AVCHD and certain still images on the timeline, and we're working to correct it. We apologize for the inconvenience.
In the meantime, workarounds include:
-Rendering still images to a video format (such as AVI)
-Rendering AVCHD footage to an intermediate format (such as AVI)
-Working in 9.0b

I chose to go back to 9.0b 64bit and 9.0c 32 bit -- you've chosen to use Video Format AVI's to solve this. It's been 3 months. I'd say SCS has a really deep problem here or there already would have been a 9.0d 64 bit to fix this.

Have you tried using 9.0c 32 bit on the same project? .. Do you still have the problems?

I didn't consider switching back to 32-bit given my issues with rendering complex projects in 9.0b 32-bit... and I don't expect i can install both on 1 machine.

Right now I'm not working on a project with multiple images, when I do... (if Sony hasn't released a fix by then), I'll try 32-bit, for sure.

You can run 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Vegas on the same machine. Use the same serial number for both. I have 8.0c 32 bit - 9.0b 64 bit - and 9.0c 32 bit on the same machine - can run them all at the same time. No problem.
