video editing notebook

I might b going out of teh country for a few weeks to do a documentary and i'm thinking of getting a nice notebook with an external Hd for storage.

any sugestions other than regular Toshiba and Sony?

I use a Dell Inspiron 5150 and it works great. Other people use other brands and love them. This has been discussed recently so do a search or look several days back in posts and you should see something on it. Bottom line is how much are you willing to spend. That is why I went with Dell, there are better options out there.

i use my dell Inspiron 8600 - its primarily a gaming machine so its naturally equiped to do video editing as a bonus :D

I just got my new Dell Inspiron 5150, I haven't tried any editing on it yet, but it definately has enough power to do it.
