Video Editing - Pro vs. Studio

In another thread someone advised that multiple camera video editing was much easier with Vegas Pro than Studio. I didn't want to hijack the thread so I brought my question here. Exactly what are the advantages. I currently use Studio and edited (2) cameras on my last project. I used the video envelope method. Next year the same project will involve (3) cameras. I can see how this would be a pain using the the same technique with Studio. How is this done with Pro?

Download the Vegas Pro 12 Manual from the link above and go to the "Multicamera" section to see how it works. Vegas Pro 12 has a free trial you can try on your own.

The short answer is that Vegas Pro has a separate multicamera editing function where you have access to your takes in the preview.

Can I assume that installing the trial version of Vegas pro won't cause problems with my licensed Vegas studio?

They can exist side by side.
