Hi, i was just wondering if there was a way to zoom in on a section of video using video vegas 5, i have seen this in some videos made by this software and would like to try it myself

Two ways actually: Pan/Crop will zoom on a single event and Track Motion will zoom an entire track. Just use keyframes to control the start and stop point of the zoom.
