Video Event FX Keyframe Controller missing

I'm using Movie Studio Platinum 9.

When using the cookie cutter (event fx) plug in before, I was able to move the cut away section around over the course (timeline) of the event, using the keyframe controller at the bottom of the window. I seem to have lost the keyframe controller and it now seems missing for all Video FX plug ins.

Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to get it back?

Position your cursor at the very bottom of the Video Event FX window. You should see the cursor change to two small horizontal lines with tiny arrows attached. Click and drag upward to reveal the keyframe controller portion of the window. It's a frequently encountered Vegas annoyance.

You can also double-click the title bar of any effects window and Vegas will immediately resize it "just right" for that particular window. Effects with just a few settings will only need a small window. Effects with a lot of settings will need a bigger window.
