Video Event Properties

OK, I'm brand new to Vegas 6, so go easy on me! How do you easily view the "time properties" of a video event? i.e.: in time, out time, and length. If I right click and bring up the properties window, it only shows length, and the length it shows appears to be the default event length, and no the actual length of a given event (that has been resized for example).

In time on the timeline? or In time from the beginning of the clip?

If you double-click the event, in the lower right of the timeline is three boxes: In time, Out time, Length. Those numbers are based on the timeline.
