Video Explosion Comparison

So I just found a software called Video Explosion Deluxe. Looks like an exact copy of Video Factory, but by a different company. Anyone know anything about them? Will this company be taking over the video applications for Sonic?

I've just had a look at Nova Development's web site (they produce Video Explosion Deluxe) and found that it's based on Sonic Foundry's Video Vegas (sic) technology. I don't know what the implications are. Maybe a Mac offering?
