Video FActory 2 or Vegas Video 3

Here is what I want to do, create a mpeg file that I do not have to re-encode to 6000kbps 720x480 NTSC for making DVDs. Both demos are limtited to what you can do, thats why I ask.
I need to capture from DV Firewire cam
I need to add audio (import from mp3) tracks
I need to cut selections of video from time line and paste back.
I need to add text (with FXs like credit roll ect.)
Can Video Factory do all this (and more) or do I need to add some thing to it, or do I have to get Vegas Video 3?
Thanks
Hunter

VideoFactory can do all of that quite nicely. However, it does not include the MPEG-II encoder (necessary for creating DVDs) in the base price. You have to purchase this separately. By the time you include the MPEG-II encoder, it's almost as cheap to buy VF and upgrade to Vegas.
