Video File plays audio in MSP7 NO Audio in MSP9

Up to now Vegas has been almost flawless but encountering an interesting audio problem in MSP9 (Build 55).

The audio plays fine up to 6 minutes into an approx 1Gig 30 minute .mpg then cuts out. No audio for the rest of the 30minute mpg.

Now the interesting thing is, that the movie and audio plays fine all the way thru in SMSP7.

I've opened Preferences and Properties in both MSP 7 and MSP9 side by side and both configurations are identical.

Does anyone have any other ideas or is there anything else that I can check to resolve this in Plat 9?

Not a major issue because I can edit what I need to in SMSP7 but would like to figure out why this is not working properly in Plat 9

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Are you talking about the preview? I guess so. I think this is a memory issue. Try to create greater audio buffers.

Thanks for the reply Ivan123!
Yes this is in preview.

Initially the audio buffer was low and I matched it to the same setting in VMSP7 which is 1024. I'm going to try and increase that a little more.

Just a quick status on this, I noticed that as I was editing the video in VMSP7 it was getting out of synch and the video clip in various places was flickering to black and got worse the more I edited it. So I just started a new project and rerendered the whole video w/out doing anything to it.

I'm working off the new render and it seems to be OK.

I'm thinking the video file may have been corrupted and VMSP9 may be more sensitive?

Any other suggestions for this strange anomaly would be great for future Studio users who may encounter this.
