3 of the Nvenc settings for HW render will give much slower seek. They were my best guess as being of best quality in the Magix render settings. They will be the ones that according to Mediainfo don't give any M or N info.
The slow seek will be much more noticeable on a clip longer than these RED Car files.
These 2 lines + 1 line from the second file are probably an important pointer as to why?
I'm not sure how the 2nd. file is made up i.e. IPB? The 1st. file is clear enough.
The 1st. one below is ok ...
Format settings, RefFrames : 1 frame
Format settings, GOP : M=1, N=30
The second sample is the one that gives the slower seek speed ...
Format settings, RefFrames : 1 frame
I know this was mentioned somewhere else, not sure where, but changing the data rate in the Magix Nvenc template has no affect, it still stays about 11,000 kbps approx. ??
