I made a short video with no audio to insert into a web page. I made the size 160x120 and rendered it out to mpeg-1 and the file went from 2,790KB to 17,943KB I thought if I went from 320x240 to 160x120 and render the avi file to mpeg-1that file size would be smaller what happen. The frame size doesn't affect the output size. The output size is determined by the bitrate and the duration. To get a smaller file, use a lower bitrate.
