Video FX

There must have been a second CD or something that came with my Video Factory. When I go to add
Video FX the only thing available on the Video FX drag and drop menu is Color Balance. Looking in
my manual I see screenshots of that menu with many choices such as pixelate etc.

What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do?

Thanks in advance.

(New question at bottom.)

I just uninstalled and reinstalled and all of the FX showed up, so that problem is solved. Maybe I
deleted them somehow.

So, after getting past the hurdle of getting my drivers working to make Video Capture and my Canon
Vistura talk to each other successfully...and getting the huge amounts of dropped frames fixed by
figuring out (by the suggestion of the fine help tech from Sonic F.) that my DMA hard drive didn't
even have DMA enabled (what a difference that made!) things ran smoothly: effects were added,
adjusted etc. Rendering went fine as did print to tape. The results played on my TV beautifully!!!!!

One question: Are the speed of the transition effects such as zoom adjustable??

Thanks in advance,
Todd

You can adjust the length of a transition, but not
the 'speed' per se. To adjust the length of transition,
change the overlap of your two video events.
