Video FX Contol Panal Gone

Movie Studio 9 Platinum. I can bring up the video fx panel and add a video fx but the control panel for the fx is no where to be seen. When I click on the event fx cross you can see it come up and then down out of site all in about a half a second. I searched the web and this forum but could find nothing, so I re installed and it was repaired. I was wondering if there might be a less time consuming fix. Thanks

Look under the "Start" bar at the bottom of the screen. Set the Start Bar to auto hide and you'll find it there.

Thanks. When I was having the problem, that is where I thought it was going but I could not figure out how to move/hide the tool bar.
