Video FX Plug-In window missing?

Vegas 5.0d. When I click on either the event or track Video FX, the Plug-in window does not show. It's like it's minimized or something and I can't get to it. (It is not a problem with the 'FX Bypassed' setting.) I've tried the 'reset the software by holding down ctrl+shift' trick to reset the defaults. This was working until recently. Any ideas?

Reset should bring it back to it's original position. When this problem happens, it's usually A) moved off the screen or, B) Docked.

Remember you can always use the Windows commands to move windows via keypresses. You may be able to move it back to the main screen that way.

Do you remember off hand the windows commands for moving windows around? I think that's on the right track, because when i click the FX button the main window loses focus. So the FX plug-in window is probably active, but I just can't see it.

ALT - Space - Down - Enter will get you into "Move" mode

Then the arrow keys will move the window.
