video imports--but AUDIO does not

I'm working for the first time with Sony Vegas Movie studio HD Platinum and DVD Architect. I've created 7 videos in Vegas and rendered them using the template "DVD Architect NTSC video stream."
The render folder contains two files. One file ends is an mpg, the other is mpg.sfl.

When I import these rendered videos into DVD Architect only the mpg file is pulled in. This gives me a video with no audio.

I tried rendering only the audio in Vegas as an AC-3 file. I can import that into the menu of DVD architect, giving me a video mpg file and an audio ac3 file. However, I see no way to bring them together.

How do I get the audio and video playing together?

You are doing exactly what you should.
-- Render .mpg video file using DVD Architect template
-- Render AC3 audio file using DVD template
-- Import video file to DVD Architect, audio will follow assuming it has the same name.
-- "Bringing them together" occurs in the DVD Architect "Prepare" phase.

I trust you are importing the media in the Menu pane, not dragging them to the timeline.

Thanks musicvid!
I figured out that I needed to render the music separately , but was dragging the files to the timeline. I did it correctly once but couldn't remember how. Import worked much better, but I wasn't sure how the sound was imported when I only selected the video. Now I know!

FYI: They also have to have the same prefix name and be in the same folder. I was putting the sound renders in a separate "sound" folder and it took a whille for me to figure out the problem.
