Video Messes up in studio but not in media player. Vegas Pro 16.0

I've never seen this issue before so apologies for not knowing how to describe it but I've attached images to show what I mean by "messes up." The video is find outside of Vegas pro but messes up whenever I put it into me project. It does this only with this video in any of the formats I've tried (mp4, MOV.)

On the left is the video in Vegas pro and the right is The video in media player. I hope you are able to see the error, it is more noticeable in motion.

Again, sorry for not being able to describe this issue further, but I'm hoping somebody has seen this before and knows a fix.

Thanks in advance!

Enlarge your preview screen settings and remind Vegas is an editor and not a player.
You can only compare a rendered file out of Vegas with that on a player

Duh! Thank you so much! None of the other videos I have used so far have had an issue like this, but it's nice to know that it just wasn't rendered yet, so of course it doesn't look right.

Is the "messing up" the change in contrast? If so it's a simple levels adjustment. VMS is showing the full Computer RGB range wheras your outside player is working on Studio RGB. Please confirm so we can tell you how to fix.
