Video not showing on auto preview

A problem came up today where when I click on a file while using auto preview there is sound, but no video preview.

The video window gets smaller and the frames count up when I try to preview a file, but the video window is black.

What is the problem?

Chances are its either your Trimmer preview setting, or the split screen switch.

It was the trimmer preview window.

I have been reviewing veg files cut by an editing contractor. It seems opening a veg file can change a few settings I dont normally use. Thanks again.
