I am building a website and want to stream video directly on the site. The quality of the video when streamed directly from my hosted server is not as clean as the video streaming from a web hosting site such as Vimeo.

What is the best way to get high quality streaming video that I have installed on my server? What format and size should I render the video?

I have so far uploaded an flv video file format that was converted from an mp4 rendered in Vegas.
