Video Rendering

Hi, although a confirmed Luddite, I have been using Vegas to record family holidays etc on my Panasonic HD video camera for several years with moderate success, particularly when it comes to the mysteries (to me) of correct video rendering settings. However on a recent European holiday I took the plunge and used my Samsung phone to record some video and now, for the life of me I can't find the correct render setting that avoids video stutter/blurring, particularly when panning - I use a gimble so camera movements are relatively smooth. Attached are the specs of my camera video and I'm using Vegas 17 Pro. Any suggestion as to the correct render setting I can try would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Your project is also set to 30fps and you are rendering to 30fps?

Vegas doesn't like variable framerate recordings, conform to constant framerate first with a tool like Shutter Encoder or Handbrake.

@HobieOne Hi, I film with a Samsung S23 ULTRA, UHD 60fps, sorry I haven't got VP17 but If I play my files in VP18 they need several loop plays before they get up to speed, In VP20 it's a lot better but not perfect so I convert mine to ProRes which creates big files but they work amazingly well in Vegas,
