Video Shows As a Green Screen

I recently started getting a problem with the video playback in Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11, I recorded a video and it played back just fine in Windows Media Player, but when I try to copy it over into Vegas, I get nothing but a green screen for the video. The audio remains untouched however.

I saw someone else on the forum here had the same problem in Movie Studio 13, but there was no answer. But yes I have Quicktime installed, I use Action! Gameplay and Recording, I have a channel on Youtube and I have uploaded a great number of videos without a problem until now. The resolution is 1920x1080 at 60 fps and I am not sure what codecs are used, I don't believe that they changed as I have not meddled with any of those settings.

Thank you for your time!

Do you have any idea which codecs this video is using? Action! may well be using a codec that isn't compatible with video editing.

Open a video file in Media Info and note the frame rate, resolution and, above all, the audio and video codecs it reports.

What version of Quicktime is installed?

What format is the video you're trying to play? .MOV?

Mirillis Action can record in different formats. This from their website: "Select one of many predefined profiles and push a button to export your recordings to popular formats, devices"

So try another format and if you want to avoid headaches don't chose mov format.
