+1 Pashi - in my case I much prefer the SAL version even though it creates new files over and above the original file. OTOH, using a stabilisation plug-in within Vegas Pro such as Mercalli. Vegas, NBFX or Boris substantially blows out your veg file size per video event each time it is used..

Hm...Interesting. But if stabilize footage with Mercalli OFX and then clrl+m it in Prores then delete mercalli, will it remove its data out of VEG file?
