Video Stabilization functions disappear

Here's a weird one for you all...

For some reason, every now and then, when I open a Vegas file that was previously saved, my video stabilization effect functions have changed. Specifically, the "Edge Filling" selection that allows me to pick between Transparent, Mirror Padding, Repeat and Clamp to Edge only allows me to pick "Transparent." At the bottom of the screen, there is a warning with an orange checkmark saying "Your previously chosen edge filling option is currently not available and is reset to transparent." This is very annoying, because it changes the entire appearance of my project.

There is a workaround, although it is also somewhat annoying. If I go into my Users/AppData/Local folder and erase the folder titled Vegas Pro... and then reopen Vegas, everything is fine again. However, now I need to reorganize my layout, and change all of my preference settings back to the way I had them before. Again, not the end of the world, but rather annoying.

EDIT: I've done some more troubleshooting, and it appears that if the setting in Preferences/Video for "GPU acceleration of video processing" is set to my Nvidia graphics card, the mirror padding in my video stabilization is selectable. BUT, if GPU acceleration is set to Intel or Off, the mirror padding is not selectable. Trouble is, I like to keep my GPU acceleration off, because my renders are much more stable (if I have GPU acceleration set to my graphics card, it renders a few FPS faster, but sometimes crashes in the middle of the render).

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using Vegas 20.0, but it also does this with Vegas 19.0 on another machine.

Thanks!
