I have to create a fixed graph visualization that could be drawn on a standard 8.5x11 page and inserted as a jpeg or other drawn format into a video tract. As real time moves along a vertical bar has to progress from left to right across the sawtooh graph(which represents a workout intensity) for the hour long workout, giving the user a visualization of where they should be in real time and what their intensity should be.
Sorry for the boring BS, but hopefully there is a better way to do this than creating a new drawing each second with the vertical bar in a new posistion.
Thankyou
I gather you've already got your graphic with a vertical bar and transparent background. If not, Generated media/gradient can produce some really nice looking bars
I would use Track Motion to move this same graphic to any position - just keyframe points when you would like it to be wherever you want.
Grazie,
Thankyou for the response and the graphic.
Two things.
1. How was it done?
2. I think I am still not fully explaining what I really want to do.
I already have a graph that I want to remain fixed and staionary for about 60 min. What I want to do is have a vertical bar move across the graph in standard time from left to right and show the user where they are in real time when the motion bar is started. Hopefully I am giving you the correct explanation.
Thankyou
Tom
Tom - Sent veg , PNGs [ the media I created ] and a text file of notes to you . . hope this helps.
As to Tutes and How To's I'll make a list and post it here - yeah?
Sorry about the delay in this - been having a BBq today and our guests have just gone home - nice in the sunshine, playing draughts and backgammon, chilling out and eating Kebabs and Humous - mmmm nice . . . .
Hi Grazie,
Thanks for all the help so far.
Did you send the .veg to a central server or are you emailing to me.
Nothing has come through yet. No Hurry
Thankyou
Tom
Grazie,
I have been reading and getting more overwhelmed I as go, but I refuse to give in.
I have been looking at the .png format for graphics and did a small shetch in Illustrator and saved the drawing as .png-8. When i import the skecth into the .veg the main body that was red came out as purple. I guess i have a lot more to learn.
Any imput.
