Hey I just upgraded from VEGAS 14 to 22 and want to make a horizontal video into a vertical one by panning and cropping in. But there is always a black box on the upper side of the video. I tried every option availible.
Can someone help me?

You can do this by using Track Motion in the track header. When you click on Track Motion, a workspace window similar to pan/crop opens, but in Track Motion you will be able to zoom in without the limitations of pan/crop and be able to fill the height of the 9:16 AR display. Panning can be done back in the event's pan/crop workspace.
Please be aware that Track Motion affects the entire track and so any video even placed on that track will be affected by the Track Motion setting.
