Video Vegas won't read my Fuji F601 AVI files!

I'm trying the demo version of Video Vegas

And it won't read the video streams of my Fuji F601 digicam AVi files! It can read the audio stream, butcan't do the same for the video stream.

If anyone from Sonic Foundry read this, please fix it. Otherwise this great program is of no use to me :(

The format is a Motion JPEG I believe

I had the same problem with the avi files from my canon digicam, despite the fact that other video editing software could load them. I downloaded the free motion jpeg codec from
http://www.mainconcept.com/download/download.shtml

and it fixed the problem.
