When writing edited video back to the TRV30, I find that anything longer than 5 minutes causes an error in VF. I have suppressed the error in the VF settings, but if it occurs (invisibly), I have to restart VF - sometimes the whole computer. If I don't, VF grinds to a halt and can actually hang Win2K (quite an achievement).
This doesn't occur when getting data from the camera because VF automatically splits files (I think).
Has anyone experienced anything similar between VF and their camcorder? It isn't the end of the world, but it is annoying. The file gets written to tape despite the error message.
