I can't find out if this capture card is supported in Vegas 5. I gives me an error when trying to open the Video Capture tool that says "The Device could not be opened." Is there some way to fix this, or am I just out of luck with this card? I realize I can use other programs to capture, but I'd like to be able to use the Sony MPEG 2 encoder so that I won't have to render out my final stream to DVD Architect.

If Vegas recognizes a capture device it is listed under the "video" tab in the capture screen. There are properties to adjust in there.

But capturing as mpeg is not what you want for Vegas editing. You want to be able to capture as "avi"
