Videowave or MovieFactory or DVD Workshop

I'm considering buying DVD authoring products. Specifically I'm wondering about your experience using Videowave, Moviefactory, or DVD Workshop. Do any of you have any strong feelings one way or the other. Or, is there a better solution to create DVDs from edited higher bandwidth Vegas products?

Impression is good, missing a smooth workflow, DVD Workshop 1.3 is very powerful for the cost and for any sub 1000.00 cost.
Videowave? Put that on there and risk screwing up your registry.

I agree that Impression is good. I believe "missing a smooth workflow" is polite. I find it confusing.

I've been using movie factory with excellent results. the only thing that won't play on my apex 703 is a DVD burned to DVD-RW...everything else, DVD-R and SVCD work perfectly.

I've been using DVD Complete, and for $99, it's got a lot of features. Motion menus, motion backgrounds, and chapter points. On the down side, it only does MPEG or PCM audio, and the menu generation can be a bit restrictive unless you feel comfortable editing template scripts.

I have used both DVD Workshop and Movie Factory and prefer
Movie Factory for what I do (wedding videos). Movie Factory is
faster and easier to use. Version 2.0 has just been released.
