Is there a way to have VV display the audio tracks by
keeping the current time cursor in the center of the screen
and the audio scrolling past it, instead of the cursor
moving left to right and then the page changes to the next
set of waveforms?
Not in this, or previous versions ... WaveLab 3.0 does it, but I keep
it turned off because I proved beyond doubt, at least on one of our
older machines, that Steinberg's implementation of this feature takes
up a good deal more resources when in that mode.
KAC ...

If I zoom in horrizontal, then play, the cursor moves left to right
perfectly. However, if I begin to change the zoom while the music is
playing, the cursor stops and does not keep up with the music. In
order to have the cursor follow the music again, I have to stop
playback, make my zoom adjustment again, then press play for the
cursor to keep going with the music.
Any setting I can change to allow me to adjust the zooming while in
playback mode so the cursor keeps moving with the music?
Thanks,
Ron

You can center the cursor during playback for scrolling by hitting
the backslash key (\). In Sound Forge it's C.
is that what you mean?
