Viscosity - where do i get it??

Until today, I hadn't heard of this program and still don't know much about it. Is it used to paint on top of video??

I found Viscosity articles in the Knowlege Base, but couldn't find it in the download section (either under "Free Stuff" or "Trials and Demos". I know it must be a old program -- has it been discontinued?? BTW, I own/use Vegas 3.0 - is Viscosity compatible??

Yes, sadly it has been discontinued. I purchased my license two days before it was discontinued. It works quite well with most any .avi files and a few other formats as well, and i use it regularly with Vegas 3.0a. You can still download version 1.5 from the "updates" section of the site.

But unfortunately you won't be able to purchase a license. The demo that you will get is only good for 15 days.

Also, if you download and try to use it, you'll have to render your existing avi's as uncompressed to play in viscosity. The program wont play native avi's.
