Vista 64 Compatability with Vegas Movie Studio 11

Hi all, I have been using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 for the past few years in my dual boot computer under the XP operating system since it was not compatible in Vista 64. This was the only reason I built a dual boot computer since I do most of my other work in the Vista 64 bit operating system. Now I am having trouble with Movie Sudio 8 recognizing some of the latest codecs so I figured it was time to upgrade. However, I do not want to work in XP any longer and was hoping that Vegas 11 was fully compatible with the Vista 64 bit operating system. I can't install the trial to find out since my Vista OS is full of crap and I have no more disk space left for the installer program to even run. I plan on doing a reinstall for Vista only next weekend, which is why I want to be sure Vegas 11 will work in Vista before I wipe the dual boot computer clean. Thanks,

So is there no on running Movie Studio 11 in Vista 64? I know when I first bought Vista 64 bit I was like a beta tester for them as half the programs wouldn't run under the new OS. Now that it's not so new can anyone chime in if it runs okay? Thanks,

Okay thanks. Hopefully that workaround will work with Vista too. I may take the plunge and reinstall Vista 64 so I can reinstall the demo software on that OS. I've been using it in Windows XP for a few days and like it better over Vista 8.
