VMS 10 Demo install

Hello,
I used the demo/trial version of VMS 9 and I was ready to buy it,... when version 10 came out.

Trying to install the version 10 demo with no luck. It goes through the motions as if it installs, but it does not install.

I'm wondering if the expiration of version 9 demo would prevent version 10 demo from installing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Seems unlikely. I had V9 installed and operating in non-demo mode and then installed V10 along side it with no problems at all. After verifying V10 was OK I went back & deleted V9 (along with Cinescore & DVDA 4.5.)

Demo time limits are typically stored as registry entries specifically tied back to the subject software so its unlikely the V9 & V10 time limits would be confused.

Did you get any error/warning messages during the V10 install? Maybe you had a problem with the download - try a fresh DL & install to check.
