VMS 11

I was using VMS 9.0 and am trying out the trial version of 11 but I'm having problems. Before when you could render in blocks (forget the technical term) this one renders all the file - even though you highlight a certain section.

Also trying to edit in the cookie cutter with animate is a nightmare as sometimes you move the cursor - and nothing happens... other times it does... Is VMS 10.0 better to use?

Have you downloaded the version 11 update?

You shouldn't be having these problems. The program isn't that different than version 10.

In the Render dialog, check "Render Loop Region Only."
This has been the same since day one.

hi steve, at the moment I am using the trial version of the software... before updating.... but it seems to be very slow for me as well.

Hi Musicvid, I can't believe the render loop region only is greyed out so you can't select it. Before I would highlight the sections in the template and it would work that way. But it doesn't this time. Thanks for your help. :D

If you don't have a loop region defined, the selection will be grayed out. Is this the case?

Thanks Gary. I have sorted out the loop region problem. But I'm still having problems in cookie cutter. When I go to the animate part of... and make whatever changes. I cannot view them until playback. i.e I can just touch on the pointers where I have made the selection to view this. It kinda makes the editing (for me anyway) pointless. It is like editing in the dark. lol.
