VMS 9 platinum pro & Apple

Is VMS 9 platinum pro working with Apple ? I am thinking of switching my editing equipment ( PC to MAC) to Apple and want to know the pros and cons from this forum..... Do I make the jump or not.... depending on the infos I can get......Thanks

VMS(P) works perfectly on an Apple Mac Pro with 2 x quad Xeons (and other Intel Macs) - if you install Windows on it - but it does not run directly under Leopard.
Check the rendertest thread in the Full Vegas forum to see what you could achieve.
Pls. note, however, that Vegas officially does not support Intel Mac's - which "if and when" might give some support problems.
