VMS HD Plat 11 and Win 7--Won't start

So far about a week I had VMS HD Platinum 11 installed on my Windows 7 system and it worked fine. Then I finally installed build 322. I was a bit apprehensive about doing that but it went in fine and was working fine for about a week.

The other day I finally have some time to work on editing some old vacation vids. So I double-click on VMS and nothing happens. Tried several times and nothing happens. Uninstalled and re-installed. Can't start it up. Run malware detectors and anti-virus. Uninstall and re-install. Can't start it up. Beginning to sound like a stuck record. Nothing I've tried has been able to get VMS up and running. DVD architect starts up just fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

I had a similar problem, but I also could not re-install VMS Plat 11. I eventually found that I had installed Kingsoft Office software which caused a conflict. After uninstalling and putting back Microsoft Office , the problem was gone.

If you have installed any software since VMS last worked, there might be conflict.

Have you tried running it as administrator? Otherwise I'd uninstall and clear the registry and try again.
