VMS HD10 Platinun Suite - DVD AS - Sound Forge 10

I bought Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum Suite last week.

I am confused about how it integrates with DVD Architect Studio 5 and Sound Forge Audio Studio 10. I had to do separate installs for each product and they show up as separate programs on my hard drive.

So if I am working on a project in VMS and I want to work on some audio, or burn a disk, does VMS automatically open DVDAS and Sound Forge within the VMS operating shell? In other words, how are these two plug-ins integrated into VMS?

To burn a DVD with menu, you render your video (Make Movie) to a file that is opened in DVDAS to create the disc. VMS can burn Blu-ray discs directly but without a menu. If you want a Blu-ray disc with menu, render to a file then open it in DVDAS.

While SFAS is a separate application it does work more closely with VMS.... in another thread, musicvid wrote "...the Open Copy in Sound Forge function in Vegas takes care of everything, and returns the new take to its original position on the Vegas timeline, ..."

Other NLEs combine these functions, but in Vegas Movie Studio, they're separate apps.
