I am using VMS Trial 8 and have added some effects an avi and now want to save it as an mpg and/or wmv.

The avi originally is 1224x844 and I want the output to be as close to this resolution as possible.

In the Advanced Render option, I have set the following on the Video tab:
Width 1244
Height 844
Aspect Ratio 1
Frame rate 25
Video quality High (30)
and constant bit rate.

When I try to use this I get an error message:

VMS does not support output frame sizes greater than 1440 (width) by 1080 (height).....

Could someone explain why I am getting this error and what settings I should use to get the best output result, ie to lose as little of the original avi resolution as possible.
