VMS Platinum 7.0 freezing and not responding.

Like the title suggests VMS 7 is freezing on me and making it impossible to work with. Ive tried reinstalling and scanning for any malware of virus's that might be messing with it, but nothing. DVD Architect works fine. Anybody got any ideas?

Try this; reset Vegas to 'factory settings' by holding down CTRL+SHIFT when starting Vegas. Note that you will lose any customized effects or settings.
(there is a free tool under 'downloads' on this very site if you want to back up first.)
