VMS10 Platinum-Constant Errors Rendering

I got a template from Eugenia to render HD DV (1440 X1080) to Main Concept AAV/AAC mp4 for my WD TVLive.

Contrary to Eugenias VBR setting, I tried increasing the Variable Bit rate to 135,000,000 but received error messages- with "an unknown error has occurred" warning. I've tried to render this overnight 3 times. The last time I reduced the VBR to 100,000,000 to see what happens. Same error.
It starts rendering fine, but, somewhere along the render it fails.

Could it be that the bit rate is too high ?

Maybe your problem has nothing to do with this. Avoid using full sized still images. Resize them with your photo editing program to a size under 2048 pixels.

135 or even 100 mbps is waaaaaaaay too high bitrate for a 720p or 1080p export. Even if Vegas wasn't to choke on that, your WD TV Live would.

For HDV 1440x1080 with interpolation exporting, prefer 720p with VBR as suggested, or 3-5 more mbps than the ones suggested in the tutorial. But going from 5 mbps to 135, is a whole another matter, and subject to unpredictable behavior by encoders/decoders.

Thanks Eugenia.
I tried this as a test to see what the result would be on screen, but, couldn't get it to render.

If it still crashes, then something else is to blame. Find where exactly it crashes, and remove any special attributes of that event, and retry. Main Concept is usually more stable than Sony AVC.
