VMS14 Platinum - Timeline & Editing Toolbar Comments

Timeline - mention has been made of difficulty in seeing the Active Take information due to its grey colour. I find the same applies to the Ruler above the timeline. It is also difficult to see due to its dark grey colour.

Editing Toolbar - We have taken a step forward in having visible buttons again for Rippling etc. But on my 24 inch screen they are much too small. And the highlight black colour doesn't stand out from the black background. The highlight colour needs to be something that stands out like yellow or orange. But my biggest disappointment is the time boxes at the end. We've gone back to what they were in MS12 whereas I found the change in MS13 much more useful when editing. In MS13 the boxes showed the length of current active clip, length of any selected area, total project length. The active clip length changed as you edited a clip so made it easy to adjust a clip to a specific length.

I was also thinking the grey used for the time on the time line is darker that the grey used everywhere else eg unselected Explorer/transitions etc and all the grey text and icons in the menu bars and preview screen. the time markers are almost (but not quite) unreadable. This did prompt me to test the screen settings which I haven't looked at for years and I was able squeeze a bit more visibility by changing the settings - very unscientific though.
